Student Legal Services at Syracuse University Home Page

The Student Association and the Graduate Student Organization fund a legal services program (Student Legal Services) for Syracuse University students. The services available under the program include advice and consultation on various legal problems and court appearances in certain situations by attorneys paid for by funds supplied from your student activity fee. This program is staffed and supervised by practicing attorneys. Since the attorneys work directly for the students and do not work for Syracuse University, all matters will be kept strictly confidential, and legal conflicts with the University are covered by the program. The staff includes two attorneys, Gary M. Sommer, Esq. and Christopher E. Burke, Esq., a legal secretary, Donna Palamar, and law clerks.
